I’m watching The Voice the other night with my daughter, when Amber Carrington steps on stage and just knocks it out of the park.

Being the 50-something guy, I look at my teenage daughter and ask, “Who sings that?”

I get the usual you’re an idiot look and then she tells me it’s the song Stay by Rihanna. It caught my ear immediately because of simple piano intro. I always enjoy a good pop ballad, especially when the keyboards are featured.

I want to be careful not to infringe on any copyright laws, so I’ll just show you how to play the first part of the song. It’s really simple to play and you’ll have it down in no time. The pdf includes chord cheat sheets, chord chart, and the chords printed on the staff.

Purchase the sheet music for instant digital download at Musicnotes or Sheet Music Plus. Purchase the mp3 at Amazon, or Stay (feat. Mikky Ekko) – Unapologetic (Deluxe Version)iTunes.

**Oh yeah, Amber sang it in D major, but Rihanna recorded it in C major. This tutorial is in C major.
